Welcome to the holiday island Crete
After season holidays brochure 2010

brochure-1-2010-175The after season is an excellent time to visit Crete. The months September until the end of the year still offer pleasant weather. A nice time to explore the island, do walks in nature or just spend a quiet holiday.

This time of the year is harvest season on Crete. The trees are full with oranges, lemons, olives and grapes. This gives you the opportunity to see by yourself what makes the "Cretan" diet so healthy. Olive presses are working. The grapes are pressed and the wine is stored in the barrels. It is also the time when the famous Cretan "Raki' is made.

In the summer it is sometimes to warm on Crete for walks and cycling. The after season is excellent for this kind of activities. Also exploring the island and visit all the famous places by car, is a loved activity this time of the year.

Because the after season has lower prices for accommodation and flights, you can have a top-class holiday even with a smaller budget.

If you want to know more about Crete in the fall / winter, then please read our online-magazine. It contains also a selection of the best accommodations to stay.

The Smart Holidays portfolio ranges from old residences of character set in dramatic surroundings, village houses, cottages, windmills, hewn stone houses, seashore properties, to ultra modern luxury villas offering the height of comfort. We try to give a clear description of each property, its type of location, and distances to local amenities and to the beach.
